Proton and Perodua Car at KLIMS 2010

Baru-baru ni ada satu motorshow diadakan di PWTC. Aku tak berkesempatan nak pegi. Just dpt tgk daripada internet jer..ape boleh buat..dah kene keje. Dgr cerita byk kete2 yg canggih manggih (betul ke ayat aku nih) dgn model yg jgk canggih :-) ada pada pameran ni..dan yg menariknya adalah kete2 buatan Malaysia la, apa lagi kalau bukan kerete keluaran Proton dan Perodua. So kpd sesiapa yg nasib sama mcm aku yg tak sempat nak pegi tgk, kat bawah ada sikit gambar kete akan datang (future car) keluaran Proton (Pahlawan Series) dan Perodua. Check It Out!

Proton Tuah. Kete ni ala ala Proton Persona la. Mungkin Proton akan keluarkan kereta ni utk menggantikan Proton Persona.

Ini adalah Proton Jebat. Modifikasi daripada kereta Mitsubishi Lancer (habis la Inspira pas ni).

Proton Kasturi. Sekali imbas tgk macam Saga BLM. Mungkin adik dia kot.

Proton Lekiu. Kereta ni special sikit sebab yang ni SUV-concept car. Ada kerjasama dgn Lotus.

Perodua Bezza. Kereta next generation daripada Perodua. Lebih canggih dgn interior yang luas. Aku suka tgk pintu depan yg boleh bukak luas dan pintu belakang stail sliding.

Yessa!!!Akhirnya Proton telah mengeluarkan 'baby' terbaru mereka. PROTON INSPIRA. Satu perkongsian teknologi dengan Mitsubishi yang telah menghasilkan satu kenderaan sedan baru untuk Proton.

Sesiapa yang berminat, boleh buat tempahan dari sekarang. Hanya RM1,000.00. Harga yang ditawarkan Proton adalah bermula daripada RM79,888.00 OTR untuk 1.8l manual hingga tak lebih RM95k untuk Top Line. Pelancaran rasmi INSIPRA akan diadakan pada 10 Nov 10.

Proton has unveiled that Proton Inspira will be the official name for its Proton Waja replacement model, which has until now been only referred to by its internal codename, the Proton P3-90A.

The Proton Inspira is developed from a Mitsubishi Lancer with the choice of a Mitsubishi’s 4B10 1.8 liter engine with a 5-speed manual, a Mitsubishi 4B10 1.8 liter engine with a 6-speed virtual ratio CVT gearbox, or a top of the range 2.0 liter 4B11 engine with the same CVT transmission with added steering column paddle shifters.

At launch, the Inspira will have about 26% local content at launch, with the aim of raising it to 40% within the next few months and straight up to 65% within a year from the launch date once the local vendors have been fully prepped. It is built at Proton’s MVF plant.

Available in red, white, black or silver, the new Proton Inspira is now open for booking at any Proton dealer with a deposit of RM1,000. As an appreciation to early birds, Proton will be offering a 2 year (50,000km) free service package worth RM1,658 including parts and labor to those who take delivery of their brand new Proton Inspira for bookings made by the 15th of November 2010 that are delivered before the 31st of December 2010.

The tentative pricing starts from RM79,888 OTR for the 1.8 manual up to not more than RM95k for the top of the line. The 1.8 CVT will be somewhere in the middle. The official pricing will be unveiled at the official launch by the 10th of November 2010.

New Waja Replacement

The right pic is believed to be the new Proton car that is going to replace Waja. This elusive “Waja Lancer” soon to be launched was spotted near Masjid Kapitan Keling in Penang. The left pic is the Mitsubishi Lancer 2.0 GT. Proton is going to make a Mitsubishi-like design (re-badge of a Mitsubishi Lancer) in the new Waja but with smaller engine. It is believed that Proton will go for 1.8 litre engine for more competetive prices and will use local vendors for the internal components.

Hope that this new so called "Waja Lancer" will give a better image for Proton and give more confidence to the buyer. The cooperation between Proton and Mitsubishi Motor Corporation (MMC) surely will produce a better sedan model and will be able to compete with other vehicle sedan in the market.
